Since early childhood, Shuka has been interested in art. Her family has strong influence on her and constantly encourages her in the pursuit of her interest. Her father is an abstract artist who works with water-based media. Her grandfather painted beautiful WATERCOLOR plants and landscapes. Her maternal grandmother was not only a Sumi artist who worked with pastel but was also a Japanese calligrapher. Shuka has grown lots of flowers in her very big garden which has three ponds with water lilies and different kinds of water flowering plants with her paternal grandmother, Shuka had learnt from her grandmother how to see the nature and watch the true shape of plants by following after her grandmother every day in the big garden and help to take care of the plants .At that time, she has already started arranging flowers her own style. When she was 12years old, she started learning Ikebana at the KOZAN School. She learned directly from the 3 rd. head master KOZAN OKADA, who is the daughter of the 1"head master. Shuka received her diploma when she was 16 years old and the 2-grade master Diploma at the age of 20. After she graduated from the university, She learned ikebana directly from the head of the third head master KOZAN OKADA until she moved to CANADA.
Since she returned to Tokyo had been belong to Ikebana international(I.I.). Tokyo chapter till move to Singapore in 2008. She got final Master diploma in 2009. Then back to Tokyo again in 2010.She responded as a protocol at I.I. Tokyo till 2014. Also worked as a protocol for I.I. world convention.
She awarded newcomer's Price for Teikoku Kadouin .
After that she opened several classes for kids and started regular diploma class from last year.
尾高秋歌は、賑やかな街、東京で生まれました。幼い頃より大きな庭を手入れする祖母の後ろに従い花や木、雑草の名や特徴を学び学齢となりました。家族の芸術的背景が彼女の芸術家のセンスに大きく影響を与え、父は水性媒体を使った抽象芸術作品制作が趣味でした。
広山流で生け花を習い始め16歳で教授看板を取り、日本の古典文学と中国の伝統的な書道を学び、1983年に聖心女子大学を卒業しました。20歳のとき準師範となり、結婚まで家元教場で修行しました。
1984年に結婚し、カナダに移住。いけばなインターナショナルのモントリオール支部に入会し、モントリオールでは、日本の文化や芸術を地元のメンバーと共有しました。そして、いけばなインターナショナルのトロント支部に移籍、1992年までロイヤル・ボタニカル・ガーデンで等で生け花のデモンストレーションだけでなく作品を展示。帰国後はいけばなインターナショナル東京支部に所属、花展などに参加。2009年に師範取得し、シンガポール支部でボードメンバーとして活躍しました。モロッコなど各国の生徒にプライベートレッスンも実施。帰国後いけばなインターナショナルの東京支部で世界大会などのプロトコールとして役目を果たしました。再びジャカルタで1年活動し、日本に帰国。
2013年に帝国華道院で新人賞受賞
港区の茶華道連盟など展示多数
2016年に自宅教室にて小学生などに体験や入門のレッスン開始
2020年より定期的にディプロマコースを開始
